Privacy policy.
Quality Communications ("we", "us", "our") provides business phone, VoIP, SIP trunking, fax and cabling services in California's Central Valley. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, by phone, by email and by text message, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact and estimate requests: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the details you write in your message, and whether you chose to receive text messages from us.
- Calls, emails and texts: the information you share when you contact us, such as your business name, address, and details about your phone system or service needs.
- Customers: the information needed to provide and bill for our services, such as service addresses, account contacts and equipment details.
Information collected automatically
When you visit this website, the services that host and deliver it receive standard technical information, including your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We do not use this website to build advertising profiles about you.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your questions and estimate requests.
- To schedule consultations, installations and service visits.
- To provide, maintain, support and bill for the services you have from us.
- To send text messages you have agreed to receive (see section 3).
- To keep our website and systems secure and working properly.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Text messages (SMS)
If you check the text-message consent box on our contact form, or otherwise agree to receive texts from us, Quality Communications may send you customer care text messages about your estimate requests, appointments, installations and service or support updates. Consent to receive text messages is optional and is not a condition of purchasing any service.
- Message frequency varies depending on your requests and service activity.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help, or call us at 209-550-0303.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Full text messaging terms are in our SMS terms.
4. How we share your information
We share personal information only as needed to run our business and serve you:
- Service providers that help us operate, such as website hosting, email and form delivery, text messaging, phone service and accounting providers. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Legal requirements: when required by law, court order or legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, the public or Quality Communications.
- Business transfers: if our business is sold or merged, customer information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties, as stated in section 3.
5. Cookies and website services
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It relies on a few outside services to work:
- Cloudflare hosts the website and protects it from attacks. It processes visitor IP addresses and may set strictly necessary security cookies.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces. Your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address.
- Video delivery: the background videos are streamed from a content delivery network, which receives your IP address.
If we add analytics or other tracking in the future, we will update this policy first.
6. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above: for example, for the length of a customer relationship, and afterwards as long as required for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Estimate requests that do not become customers are deleted when they are no longer needed. When you opt out of text messages, we keep a record of your opt-out so that we honor it.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to this website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
- Text messages: reply STOP to any message to opt out.
- Email: ask us to stop non-essential emails at any time.
- Access, correction and deletion: you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to the records we must keep by law.
- California residents: California law may give you additional rights over your personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request.
9. Children
Our services are for businesses and adults. This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be posted on this page before they take effect.
